Puffin’ Terms of Use

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Your account

You must be 13 or older. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person.

Acceptable use — zero tolerance

Puffin’ has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to post, send, or upload anything that is:

• abusive, hateful, harassing, threatening or bullying
• discriminatory on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age
• sexually explicit
• violent, or that encourages violence or self-harm
• spam, a scam, or a deliberate impersonation of someone else
• unlawful, or infringing on someone else’s rights

This applies to comments, reactions, group names, challenge titles, display names and handles alike.

Reporting and enforcement

Every comment, workout and account in Puffin’ can be reported from inside the app, and any user can be blocked instantly — blocking is immediate and mutual.

We review every report within 24 hours. Content that breaches these terms is removed, and the accounts responsible are suspended or terminated without notice and without refund. Submitted text is also screened automatically against a prohibited-terms list at the point it is written.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us only the licence needed to store it and show it to the other members of your groups.

Health and fitness — not medical advice

Puffin’ is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Distance, calorie and duration figures are estimates derived from Apple Health and your iPhone’s sensors, and should not be relied on for any medical purpose. Consult a doctor before starting or changing an exercise programme. You exercise at your own risk.

Availability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranty. We may change or discontinue it at any time. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may terminate an account that breaches these terms.
